After I select text and run a keyboard shortcut, I’m getting a “selected text is different” warning and/or the text is not being transferred to CotranslatorAI.

Go to the General tab in the Options window (Tools > Options) and make sure the value for “Clipboard copy timeout when using keyboard shortcuts (milliseconds):” is at least 1250.
