Why does CotranslatorAI keep installing files in OneDrive? And how can I avoid this?

CotranslatorAI installs its files into your Windows Documents folder. On many newer Windows systems, the Documents folder is redirected to OneDrive, so Windows treats this location as your default Documents folder: C:\Users\YourUsername\OneDrive\Documents

Removing the OneDrive app, deleting OneDrive folders, or changing default storage settings does not necessarily restore the original local Documents folder location. Windows may still consider the OneDrive Documents folder to be your official Documents folder, so CotranslatorAI will continue using it.

To fix this, restore the original local Documents folder location.

How to restore the original Documents folder location:

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Go to your user folder, usually here: C:\Users\YourUsername
3. Find the Documents folder.
4. Right-click Documents and select Properties.
5. Go to the Location tab.
6. Click Restore Default.
7. Click Apply.
8. If Windows asks whether you want to move files from the OneDrive Documents folder back to the local Documents folder, confirm the move.

After this, your Documents folder should be restored to: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents

instead of: C:\Users\YourUsername\OneDrive\Documents

Once this has been done, CotranslatorAI should use the local Documents folder rather than recreating or using the OneDrive Documents folder.
