CotranslatorAI is designed to work alongside other tools, not replace them. Of course, this applies to the core workflows. But it’s also a key benefit of the CotranslatorAI Prompt Library.
CotranslatorAI is text-only, but your Prompt Library can support a broader workflow. You can build complex, reusable, translator-specific prompts—such as terminology and style guidance, formatting and localization rules, quality-check routines, or task prompts you trust—then reuse them across other tools and LLMs.
What makes this truly useful is how easily you can move your prompts into external AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. In addition to ordinary cut-and-paste, CotranslatorAI includes three built-in methods to access your pre-purposed prompts:
1) Copy Text button in the Dashboard: copy text from your Instructions field, the Segment field, or both directly to your Windows clipboard, then paste into your other AI tool.
2) Copy to clipboard button in the Prompt Library: select a prompt and copy it directly to your clipboard for manual pasting.
3) Quick Run menu: insert a prompt into another tool without manual copying. Put your cursor in the external AI’s text box, use the Quick Run shortcut (default CTRL + SHIFT + F10), choose “Insert prompt from the Prompt Library,” and click “Insert Prompt.”
This keeps you in control: you standardize your process, reuse what works, and stay flexible as AI tools evolve—without locking your best prompts away in some cloud-based vault or a sloppy collection of text files.
CotranslatorAI gives you that flexibility.
Stay in control for your next step….
